The printing patterns developed by Pierre-Louis Mascia, patented to protect its originality, have been developed on knitwear and now on a jacquard fabric that translates the language into new creative codes. The references of the research are drawn transversally from the Arts, from the movies, Costume and Fashion History. Mimi Hadden’s soft, tactile sculptures, Anna Piaggi’s deliberately incoherent style and Nancy Cunard’s early provocative stance, Yul Brynner exotism’s made in the movies, the sensual evocation of a certain aesthetic perfectly represented by Wong Kar-Wai masterpiece «In the Mood for Love,» Jaques Villeglè’s mixed-technique collages, the Biba style, the morphing dresses by Master Yohji Yamamoto, the poem «Sensation» by Arthur Rimbaud, listening to Pink Floyd’s "Shine on you crazy diamond".
The Psychedelia of the Sixties, Sciamanism and a Spiritual purpose, Woodstock as a dream of freedom before the end of innocence, that Hippy atmospheres, with color and graphic combinations that succeded in building precise style icons are just some of the references of the new Pierre-Louis Mascia collection.
